Volunteer Project - Black Hills, SD - April 24-26

In April 2020, we needed volunteers to help with a count in Black Hills, South Dakota.

We will again be hosting our annual mountain goat survey in South Dakota's Black Hills this coming April 24-26. Our survey will be based out of the Game Lodge Custer State Park Campground, where complementary campsites will be available to volunteers. Morning volunteer meetings will be held at the Tataka Theater, found at the east end of the hosting campground.
We will survey up to six different areas returning to the campground nightly. This is not a backcountry project and is open to anyone with a car and a pair of binoculars. Please help us spread the word and invite friends to help us assist SD Game, Fish & Parks in another successful survey.
