2019 Bridger Mountains Goat Survey

In 2019, the RMGA solicited volunteers for a ground count in the Bridger Mountains, Montana.
This July 27-28 we will be hosting a great volunteer project in Bozeman's backyard. The Bridger mountains offer some of the most consistent and accessible mountain goat sightings in North America. This local herd also boasts some of the largest goats in Montana!
Join us for a weekend on top the Bridger Mountains. We will kick off the survey with a Friday afternoon meeting at Stone Glacier where Regional Biologist, Julie Cunningham, will explain project goals and search areas. To sign up for this project, please contact the RMGA.
