(Cancelled) Upper Horsefly (BC) Goat Count

(Cancelled due to not reaching minimum participant numbers. Rescheduled for 2026, around the same time, so pencil it in!) 

RMGA and British Columbia Fish & Wildlife are excited to partner up and bring you a count in the Upper Horsefly Mountains, July 12-13!

This is a first time count in this location! We recommend experienced hikers only, as there are only a few hiking trails, and we expect bushwhacking/backcountry exploration. We will recommend that people hike in small groups to ensure safety since off-trail is expected.

The nearest large center is Williams Lake, BC, and the count area is ~2.5 hour drive east.

There is a minimum amount of people (8) needed, but no maximum number.
