Glacier National Park Count

Join RMGA in the beautiful Glacier National Park in Montana! 

Four (4) spots have opened up short notice for the Glacier National Park goat count for 2025! Unfortunate for those members who now can't make it but maybe ... fortunate for you?

It is a two night backcountry count in Glacier National Park, August 22 to 24. We will have a group campsite booked for the night of August 21 and August 24 for those out-of-towners, or for those who just don't quite want to go back to the real world.

You will need to bring your own backcountry camping supplies (you will be in groups, so you can share some items), and optics, like binos or scopes - it is sometimes possible to lend you some, so ask sooner than later and we will see what we can do.
